Andy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of New South Wales. He began his career in accounting practice while completing his studies and later qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Australia. Prior to joining McBurney in 2017, Andy earned a law degree and worked in government policy data analytics for the public sector in China. His accounting experience includes advising high-net-worth family groups and small businesses, integrating IT solutions to address complex accounting and taxation challenges.
Andy specialises in leveraging technology to enhance financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and tax planning. He applies data analysis to resolve intricate business issues and develops models for general-purpose financial reporting. He is dedicated to delivering precise, data-driven insights to support clients in achieving their financial objectives.
In his spare time, Andy enjoys camping with family and friends, fishing on rocks, and researching new technologies.
